Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal lisan pendek sederhana untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. KOMPETENSI DASAR Kompetensi dasar Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari yang melibatkan tindak tutur: meminta dan memberi kepastian, mengungkapkan dan menanggapi keraguan.

5 Certainty is the state of being completely confident or having no doubt about something. How ever, uncertainty / doubt is when nothing is ever decided or sure.

7 Expressing Certainty When you are sure that something
will happen in the future, use these expessions. For example to the question: “Will John pass the Exam?” You may respon as follows: Yes, I’m absolutely sure he will. Yes, I’m quite sure he will Yes‘, I’m certain he will Yes, I’m positive he will Definitely Certainty Of course

8 ExpressingCertainty When you are sure that something will not happen in the future, use these expressions For example to the questions: “Will Tom win the game?” You may respond as follows: No, I’m absolutely sure he won’t Quite sure Certain Positive Definitely not Certainly not Of course not

9 Expressing Uncertainty / Doubt
When you are not sure whether something or someone will not happen, use the following expressions. For example to the questions: “Will Anna come?” You may respond as follow as: Well, it’s possible I suppose, but I wouldn’t like to say for certain. Well, it’s impossible. I’m not sure. It could happen, but I’m not sure. It might be, but I doubt it. I have my own doubts It’s doubtful No one can know for certain I can’t tell you for sure
