 Exodus 35:4-5 (NIV)  4 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, "This is what the Lord has commanded:  5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze;

 Exodus 35:5 (NIV)  5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze;  Exodus 35:21-22 (NIV)  21 and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22 All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord.

 (35:21) “Everyone came…”  (35:22) “Both men and women…”  (35:27) “The rulers brought…”  (35:29) “The children of Israel brought…”

 “And every man, with whom was found blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, goats’ hair, red skins of rams, and badger skins, brought them. (24) Everyone who offered an offering of silver or bronze brought the LORD’S offering. And everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it. (25) All the women who were gifted artisans spun yarn with their hands, and brought what they had spun, of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen. (26) And all the women whose hearts stirred with wisdom spun yarn of goats’ hair

 (27) The rulers brought onyx stones, and the stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate, (28) and spices and oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense. (29) The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to the LORD, all the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring material for all kinds of work which the LORD, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.”

 1 Chronicles 22:14 (AMP)  14 In my affliction and trouble I have provided for the house of the Lord 100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron without weighing. I have also provided timber and stone; you must add to them.

 … and all the people rejoiced at what God had brought about for his people, because it was done so quickly. (2 Taw. 29:36)

 Haggai 1:2-9 (NIV)  2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the Lord's house to be built.'"  3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai:  4 "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"  5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

 6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."  7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.  8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the Lord.  9 "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the Lord Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.
