LEARNING FOCUS In this session you will learn about: the used of quantifiers: a lot (banyak), a few (sedikit), a little (sedikit)/ (penggunaan kata penakaran/takaran) Quantifier is a word that expresses a quantity, it use to tell the quantity of an object without counting its number or amount in precise kinds of quantifier are: some, many much, any, a lot, a little, a few Expressing instruction (ungkapan perintah)
1. USING “a little” We use a little with uncountable nouns Example of uncountable nouns: Milk - sugar - sand Water - salt There is a lot of milk in the glass. (ada banyak susu di dalam gelas) There is a little milk in the glass. (hanya ada sedikit susu di dalam gelas) There isn’t any milk in the bottle. (tidak ada susu di dalam gelas)
There are a lot of breads on the plate. 2. USING “a few” We use a few with countable nouns Eaxamples: egg, orange, apple, cookies, bread, burger, etc. There are a lot of breads on the plate. (ada banyak roti di atas piring) (ada sedikit roti di atas piring) There is only one bread on the plate. (hanya ada satu roti di atas piring) There are a few of breads on the plate

To give instructions, we can use imperative GIVING INSTRUCTION To give instructions, we can use imperative In imperative, the verbs is put in frot of the sentence Examples: Take two slices of bread Spread jam on thebread we can add sequance to show the order (of the instructions) Examples: first (pertama), second (kedua), then (kemudian), now (sekarang), finally (terakhir).
PRACTICE 2 Work in pair, and make dialogue like the examples, by using the clues given in your dialogue! Example 1 Example 2 A: Do you have any money? A: Is there a lot of meat?
