Namun, untuk dapat menggunakan fasilitas ini, Anda dan lawan bicara Anda harus memiliki kamera baik internal ataupun external. Selain bisa menggunakan kamera untuk melihat wajah lawan bicara, messenger juga mempunyai fasilitas komunikasi menggunakan suara yang dinamakan fasilitas VOiP. Dengan VOiP Anda bisa berkomunikasi dengan lawan bicara selayaknya Anda bertelepon dan biayanya lebih murah.
