Memfasilitasi Perubahan Diet Seseorang membuat perubahan perilaku hanya jika mereka siap untuk berubah Intervensi gizi (isi dan gaya ahli gizi) adalah powerful determinant of resistance and denial, as well as motivation, and person who want to make change in their diet. Modifikasi diet terjadi sesuai dengan Siklus seseorang Intervensi yg berbeda diperlukan untuk seseorang yang mempunyai fase motivasi yang berbeda Ambivalance is a key block that can be resolved through intervention Resistance and denial get in the way of meeting behavioral goals

Tahap Perubahan 1. Precontemplation: memerlukan informasi dan feed back meningkatkan perhatian-- berubah 2. Contemplation : kesadaran ketertarikan meningkat (masuk dlm fase ambivalence) 3. Preparation : ada peluang untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan (bs menerima/menolak) –perlu strategi tujuan dpt dicapai/diterima/sesuai 4. Action: menjalani perubahan 5. Maintanance: tantangan  mempertahankan perubahan yg dibentuk o/perilaku sebelumnya u/mencegah fall back again 6. Relapse: penurunan atau stuk. tujuan dalam tahap ini mencatat upaya yg telah dilakukan.
