REALIBILITY OF THE LEEDS ASSESSMENT OF NEUROPATHIC SYMPTOMS AND SIGNS (LANSS) SCALE (INDONESIAN VERSION) IN TYPE II DIABETIC PATIENTS I PUTU EKA WIDYADHARMA* YUDIYANTA** Background: One of the most common peripheral nerve complications of diabetes is painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). The Leeds assessment of neuropathic symptoms and signs (LANSS) Pain Scale, is a very useful tool that provides immediate information in the clinical setting and helps distinguish nociceptive pain from neuropathic pain and based on analysis of sensory description and bedside examination of sensory dysfunction, and provides immediate information in clinical settings. . Objective: To measure of LANSS pain scale reliability to distinguish neuropathic pain from nociceptive pain in type II diabetic patients. Patients and Methods: A Cross-sectional observational study design. Every inclusion patients have been interviewed by 2 phycicians, with 15 minutes interval using LANSS pain scale that has been translated in Indonesian language. Reliability, by means of internal consistency and inter-rater agreement valuation. Results: Tabel 2. Nilai Kesepakatan 2 Pemeriksa skala nyeri LANSS A total of 35 type II diabetic subjects (15 men, 43%) and (20 women,57%) with mean age 62,26 ± 9,7 years were included in the study. The scale showed good reliability (internal consistency coefficients between 0.75 and 0.88 and inter-rater agreement: kappa coefficient of 0.76) Pertanyaan Kappa P 1 0,84 0,00 2 0,82 3 0,88 4 5 0,80 Alodinia 0,76 Ambang rangsang tusukan 0,75 Tabel 1.
