Present Perfect Tense Present Time
Pattern (pola): S + have + past participle + O/C Meaning (arti): telah/sudah (dua kejadian pada waktu bersamaan dan satu kejadian terjadi mendahului kejadian yang lain) Time Indicator (keterangan waktu): many times, several times, since, for, before.

Present Perfect Tense Example: I have visited the palace many times.
They have learned the lesson several times. She has locked the door before they arrive. Has she seen the movie? Have you met the man before?

Simple Past Tense Past Time
Pattern (pola): S + past verb (V2) + O/C = simple Meaning (arti): menceritakan sesuatu yang telah terjadi dan bukan kejadian yang bersifat kebiasaan (habit) Time Indicator (keterangan waktu): yesterday, last …, … ago.

Simple Past Tense Example: I met my old friend there yesterday.
She came late to school last week. We heard the news two days ago. Did they sing the songs nicely last month? Did you bring the book yesterday?
