Sejarah PT SMART Telecom
PT Smart Telecom merupakan hasil merger antara PT Indoprima Mikroselindo dengan PT Wireless Indonesia, perusahaan berhasil mengantongi ijin operasi CDMA di frekuensi 1900 Mhz. Nama Primasel kemudian berubah secara formal menjadi Smart Telecom pada tanggal 11 April 2007. Smart mengadaptasi teknologi terbaru yaitu CDMA X dan EVDO-Rev A

BlackBerry CDMA Pertama di Indonesia Berbeda dengan layanan BIS di jalur GSM, dimana untuk membuat akun client BIS Smart menggunakan PIN Blackberry serta No. ESN. Lain dengan BIS jalur GSM yang menggunakan PIN dan No. IMEI. Menurut berita yang sempat terlempar dari salah satu sumber di Gedung Smart, Jl. H. Agus Salim, Sabang, Jakpus, harga layanan BIS dari Smart Rp 5.000/hari atau Rp perbulan. Harga sudah termasuk internet unlimited jika Blackberry tersebut dijadikan modem internet. Kelebihan dari BIS smart adalah, Smart mendukung jaringan EVDO yang jauh lebih cepat dari jaringan 3G sekalipun. sehingga akses internet akan lebih mudah.

The EAGLE STP performs Global Title Translations (GTT) on the SCCP message to determine the location of the database (SCP) that contains the information needed. The EAGLE STP forwards the TCAP query via an SCCP message to the 800 database on the SCP. The SCP processes the query. SCP sends TCAP response containing the routing information to the EAGLE STP where it is MTP routed back to the SSP. The originating SSP sends an Initial Address Message (IAM) or ISUP setup message to establish a circuit connection to the destination SSP. The EAGLE STP through switches an IAM or ISUP setup message to the destination SSP to complete the end-to-end circuit connection. The destination SSP sends an Address Complete Message (ACM) to acknowledge the circuit completion and that ringing is being sent to the called party. The voice trunk circuit identified in the Initial Address Message (IAM) is cut through by the time the ACM has been sent to the originating SSP. Called party rings and goes off hook. The destination SSP sends an Answer Message (ANM) as soon as Called Party goes off-hook. The Calling Party goes on-hook and a Release Message (REL) is sent by originating SSP to the destination SSP.
