4 Stress in Pronunciation
Stress in pronunciation is the relative emphsis that may be given to certain syllables in a word, That means the stressed syllables are louder and longer sound. The stressed syllables are represented by bold writing. there are some stressed in pronunciation.

   Example : [ˈɡɑː.dənˈ]    == garden == the first syllable is  stressed: GARden  [ˈmed.əʊ]     == meadow == the first syllable is stressed: MEAdow [ˈmʌʃ.ruːm] == mushroom  == the first syllable is stressed: MUSHroom  [æk.jə.rə.si] == Accuracy   ==   the first syllable is stressed: ACcuracy

9 Penekanan dalam pengucapan
Penekanan dalam pengucapan dalam Bahasa Inggris adalah penekanan relatif yang dapat diberikan kepada suku kata tertentu dalam sebuah kata. Yang berarti bunyi yang di ucapkan pada kosa kata lebih di kuatkan atau lebih lama untuk lebih memperjelas, selanjutnya penekanan kata akan ditulis dalam bentuk  cetak tebal. Ada beberapa jenis penekanan dalam pengucapan dalam suku kata bahasa inggris yaitu :
