3 Konsep Dasar Terjadinya Penyakit / Masalah Gizi Kejadian A Kejadian B Sebab Akibat = Sebuah peristiwa, kondisi, atau karakteristik dari 2 fakt or tersebut yang memegang peran penting dalam timbul nya penyakit.

4 Penyebab masalah Gizi Menurut UNICEF (1998) menggambarkan 4 fakor yan g berhubungan dengan status gizi, yaitu: 1. Penyebab langsung: asupan gizi dan penyakit infek si 2. Penyebab tidak langsung:ketersediaan pangan ting- kat rumah tangga, perilaku/ asuhan ibu dan anak,se rta pelayanan kesehatan dan lingkungan 3. Masalah utama: kemiskinan, pendidikan rendah,ket- ersediaan pangan, dan kesempatan kerja. 4. Masalah dasar: krisis ekonomi dan krisis politik.

5 Host Agent Komponen : - Host(Faktor yang ter dapat dalam diri ma nusia), yaitu: * Genetik * Umur * Jenis kelamin * Suku/ras/warna ku lit * Fisiologis * Imunologis * Perilaku. - Agent(Faktor yang menyebabkan peny akit atau masalah k esehatan), yaitu: * Gizi * Kimia * Fisik - Lingkungan(Fakto r yang mempenga ruhi host dan age n), Yaitu: * Fisik * Biologis * Sosial Envinoment

6 Perubahan pada salah satu faktor atau komponen akan mengubah keseimbangan Hubungan ketiga komponen digambar kan sebagai tuas dalam timbangan : envir onment sebagai penumpu

8 Penyakit terjadi karena adanya ketidaks eimbangan diantara ketiga komponen

9 AGENT Agent bisa dikelompokkan menjadi 3:  Biologis, misalnya : bakteri, parasit, virus, riketsia  Fisik/kimiawi, misalnya : timah hitam, karbon monoksida, sinar ultraviolet, cuaca, curah hujan, dll  Sosial: sosial ekonomi (misalnya pendidikan, kemiskinan), sosial budaya (misalnya adat istiadat, kebiasaan), sosial politik (misalnya situasi politik, demokrasi), sosial psikologis (misalnya hubungan yang tidak serasi dalam keluarga).

11 ENVIRONMENT Lingkungan dapat dibagi 3:  Lingkungan fisik (cuaca, musim, geologi, geografis)  Lingkungan biologis ( kepadatan penduduk, microorganism, tumbuh-tumbuhan dan binatang)  Lingkungan sosial (norma, adat istiadat, kepercayaan agama, nilai-nilai yang berlaku, dll)

16 Konsep Timbulnya Penyakit Metode Sebab-akibat Suatu penyakit tidak tergantu ng pada satu sebab yang berdiri sendiri melainkan sebagai akiba t dari serangkaian sebab akibat Penyakit dapat dicegah dengan memutus rantai pada berbagai t itik

18 Memerlukan identifikasi dari berbagai faktor yang berperan dalam timbulnya penyakit dengan tidak mementingkan pentingnya agent. Model ini menggambarkan hubungan manusia dan lingkungannya sebagai roda Besarnya peran dari masing-masing faktor bergant ung pada penyakit yang diderita Konsep Timbulnya Penyakit Metode Roda

21 Keadaan di satu sisi kekurangan gizi tetapi disisi lain kelebihan gizi Banyak terjadi di negara berkembang. Di desa banyak orang yg kekurangan gizi tetapi di kota juga banyak orang yang kelebihan gizi Masalah Gizi Ganda
