Mining activities last for approximately 7 years until 2018 where Maluku Governor finally closed the mine. Usually the local miners use mercury and sianida to stacking gold. This project used an imagery from 2010 (Google Earth) to see the location before the mining occur, 2015 imagery (Google Earth) to see what happened in 5 years the mining operated and 2019 imagery (arcgis online) to see what happened when the mining closed for 2 years.
