2 PT. Xyclus Cipta Teknologi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang teknologi informasi yang mengambil peran sebagai konsultan bisnis, perusahaan ini menggunakan RDBMS MySQL untuk manajemen data dalam pembangunan perangkat lunaknya.

3 PT. Xyclus Cipta Teknologi mengalami kendala pemeliharaan data yang disebabkan oleh pradigma pemodelan data. Kendala lain yang dialami adalah pengolahan data yang membutuhkan banyak waktu yang disebabkan oleh tingginya pertumbuhan data dan dependensi informasi terhadap kompleksitas relasi data yang dimiliki Mengapa menggunkan No SQL ? Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi kendala diatas adalah dengan menerapkan basis data non-relasional atau dikenal sebagai NoSQL Database

4 Kasus yang ditemukan adalah kesulitan dalam pemeliharaan basis data, hal ini dikarenakan tidak dinamisnya basis data yang dimiliki, sehingga secara spesifik hal ini berimbas pada pengolahan query yang memerlukan waktu lebih dalam pengolahan data. PT. Xyclus Cipta Teknologi dengan menggunakan pemodelan basis data non-relasional NoSQL MongoDB. Mengapa menggunkan No SQL ?

5 Basis data NoSQL adalah jenis basis data yang tidak menggunak an perintah SQL dalam memanipulasi (menyimpan maupun men gambil data) basis data tersebut. Kebanyakan basis data NoSQL digunakan dalam dunia aplikasi web waktu nyata (real-time web a pp). Berbeda dengan basis data SQL dimana meskipun berbeda-bed a pembuat namun cara kerja maupun cara penggunaannya relatif sama.
