How to respond to any Directions, Instructions, and Procedures. As we know, sometimes we are given some task(s) or instruction(s) by our boss, our parents, or even our teacher/lecturers. That’s when we are supposed to responds back to them. But, do we responded to them in a correct way ? Or we don’t even realize that our respond(s) sometimes sounded so (or maybe too) rude? Don’t Worry, we’re going to learn about them today! But first, do you even know what is the meaning of Directions, Instructions, and Procedures?

Directions(Pengarahan) According to Google: Directions is the management or guidance of someone or something. Or to put it simply, something that directs or guide someone in doing something. Or even directs someone to ones destination. For Example : "under his direction, the college has developed an international reputation” “Preston gave him the direction to the restaurant”
4
Instruction(Instruksi/Petunjuk) According to Google : Instruction is a detailed information telling how something should be done, operated, or assembled. In other words, instruction is a information given to us on how to do task(s) or something. For Example : “Connect to the wifi first before you use the Internet” “Design the photo according to yourself and submit it to me tomorrow”
5
Procedure(Prosedur/langkah-langkah) According to Google : Procedure is an established or official way of doing something. To put it simple: it’s a step to do something or a process. For Example: “Firstly, switch on the computer on your desk.” “Second, Login As Administrator to Access your Desktop.” “Third, Open the application”

Identifying Main Ideas What’s a Main Idea? Well, main idea is usually the most important fact or opinion in a paragraph of the text. Usually you can find it in the first sentence in the paragraph. For Example : Mexico is an interesting place to visit. It’s….(Paragraph 2 continues) Football is the best sport. It’s… (paragraph 2 continues) These below are not a main idea: … any progress (paragraph 1). How did he do it? (this is not a right answer as this is in the Second line of the paragraph. And much more…
13
But… The main idea is not always clearly stated. It’s more difficult to identify a main idea when it’s inferred or implied. It can be implied through other words in the paragraph. An impilied main idea can be found in several ways: Implied ideas can be drawn from facts, reasons, or examples that give hints or suggestions concerningthe main idea. These hints will be clues leading you to discover the main idea in the selected texts. Try the passage below to see if you can pick out the main idea.
