Speechreading is Not Easy Oral Approach Fails With the Severaly Hearing-Impaired Lipreading Same visually for example: lost, lest, lust, list, and last. Most of deaf speakers produce speech which is largely unintelligible to ordinary hearing persons who haven’t had any familiarity with such speech.
