2 TV TECHNOLOGY TV merupakan media yang cost-effective khususnya dalam bidang information, education & entertainment. Menurut catatan ITU; pada tahun 2000 terdapat 1.4 milyar pesawat TV. Saat ini lebih dari 1.4 milyar TV set analog yang digantikan oleh digital set yang menciptakan multi billion dollar bisnis tiap tahunnya dalam bidang peralatan broadcast, elektronika, komputer dan semikonduktor.
