ELEMENT OF CAS CREATIVITY - arts, and other experiences that involve creative thinking. ACTION - physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle. SERVICE - an unpaid and voluntary exchange that has a learning benefit for the student.
CRITERIA real, purposeful activities, with significant outcomes personal challenge—tasks must extend the student and be achievable in scope thoughtful consideration, such as planning, reviewing progress, reporting reflection on outcomes and personal learning.
WHAT IS CONSIDERED CAS Class project – min one semester commitment involving two or more elements of CAS Extra curricular activities Outside clubs or organization Yearly school camp

STUDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY Plan own CAS Record activities in student’s journal (scrapbooks/ photo essay/ video/ weblogs/ written journal / portfolios). Journal should include proposal, evidence, and reflection
