What is AHP ? Metode kuantitatif untuk meranking berbagai alternatif dan memilih satu terbaik berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan.

Penilaian Kriteria dan Alternatif Kriteria dan alternatif dinilai melalui perbandingan berpasangan Tabel Skala Nilai Perbandingan Berpasangan Nilai Keterangan 1 Kriteria/alternatif A sama penting dengan kriteria/alternatif B 3 A sedikit lebih penting dari B 5 A jelas lebih penting dari B 7 A sangat jelas lebih penting dari B 9 Mutlak lebih penting dari B 2, 4, 6, 8 Apabila ragu-ragu antara dua nilai yang berdekatan

Bagaimana Menilai Kriteria ? Misalkan ada 2 kriteria Cost dan quality untuk product A & B. Cost untuk A= $60 dan quality di atas rata-rata. Cost untuk B=$15 dan quality adalah rata-rata. Produk mana yang akan dipilih? This is a very simplistic the problems can be very complex also.

Kontraktor memiliki 4 kriteria yang akan dipakai sebagai dasar dalam pemilihan supplier, yaitu : harga penawaran (price),jarak (distance),kualitas sdm (labor) dan upah/biaya tenaga kerja (wage).

~ STEP TWO nilai sel pada setiap kolom dibagi dengan jumlah kolom. Note: jumlah nilai pada setiap kolom sama dengan 1.

Hasilnya . . . Supplier Score A .3091 B .1595 C .5314 1.0000 Berdasarkan score diatas, maka Supplier C akan dipilih sebagai supplier terbaik.
