Two of the most tragic and dramatic deaths in American history, the assassinations of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and John Fitzgerald Kennedy, involved the following astonishing parallels.

Andrew Johnson and Lyndon Johnson each have 13 letters.  The First name of Lincoln's private secretary was John; the last name of Kennedy's private secretary was Lincoln.

 Both assassins went by three names: John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, with fifteen letters in each complete name. John Wilkes Booth was born in Lee Harvey Oswald was born in  Both assassins were Southerners who held extremist views. Both assassins were murdered before they could be brought to trail.  A week before Lincoln was killed he was in Monroe, Maryland while a week before Kennedy was killed he was with Marilyn Monroe.
