Target UNS pada tahun 2017 adalah berada pada interval rangking Ini berarti pada tahun UNS mulai berada di rangking 1000 seperti UI. Jika dilihat dari parameter Visibility, maka UNS harus menyusun kegiatan-kegiatan untuk membawa Global Ranking website-nya ( dari menuju di Engine Ahrefs sebagai Indeks Kinerja Kegiatan (IKK) seperti grafik di atas (website uns.ac.id versus ui.ac.id).

Mengapa UNS belum muncul dalam peta rangking AUR maupun WUR? Karena fokus perhatian UNS yang hanya mengikutkan diri pada QS Star, sehingga updating data UNS pada WUR dan AUR tidak dilakukan secara intens.
