4 CREATIVE WRITING Creative writing is considered to be any writing,
fiction, poetry, or non-fiction, that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, journalistic, academic, and technical forms of literature. Works which fall into this category include novels, epics, short stories, and poems. Writing for the screen and stage, screenwriting and playwriting respectively, typically have their own programs of study, but fit under the creative writing category as well.

5 ACADEMIC WRITING Academic writing is the process of breaking down ideas and using deductive reasoning, formal voice and third person point-of-view. It is about what you think and what evidence has contributed to that thinking. what-is-academic-writing-definition-examples-quiz.html

6 HOW TO WRITE ACADEMICALLY
Start by introducing your topic. State your main idea clearly. State the main idea of each paragraph. Use supporting examples and details to make complicated ideas easier to understand. Use third person point-of-view (e.g. he, she, it and they). No first and second person points-of-view (e.g. I, you, we) are used in academic writing. Use formal voice. This means no slang or colloquialism. End by restating your main idea, or summarizing important points, and then drawing a final conclusion for your reader. Proofread your work, making any necessary corrections to sentence structure, punctuation, spelling and grammar.

Apa saja mata kuliah yang ada di studi tersebut yang menguntungkan kita. Apa yang akan kita lakukan setelah menyelesaikan studi kita.

9 IMPORTANT NOTES Motivation letter adalah essay bebas, tapi semakin tertata, semakin bagus. Buat pembukaan menghentak (mengutip kata mutiara, pendapat ahli, dll) Buat benang merah baik dari latar belakang pendidikan/ pekerjaan ke program yang akan diambil. Bila IPK tidak terlalu menonjol, sertakan alasan tepat mengapa itu terjadi. Sertakan tujuan anda dalam mengikuti program (tentunya tidak sekedar untuk mendapatkan gelar S2), seperti untuk memajukan bangsa, mengabdi pada bangsa, menjadi expert di bidang tertentu, dll. Hindari keluh kesah, jangan terlalu banyak bercerita tentang masa lalu anda (misal: kesulitan ekonomi, fasilitas tidak mendukung) sebaliknya ceritakan tentang cita-cita, harapan dan tujuan yang ingin anda capai.
