3 The Effect of Cosmetic towards Scalp and Hair
Principally there are 2 effect of cosmetic towards scalp and hair : a. Positive effect, is it can clean, make healthy, prolific and beautify scalp and hair b. Negative effect, is it cause ailment on the scalp and hair after the using of cosmetic Example : Scalp : swollen, redness, peel out, itchy, dandruff Hair: fall, red, branch, pearl (mutiara), dry, oily, etc Seni Kerajinan dan Pariwisata

MODERN COSMETIC Factors influence the cosmetic effect towards scalp and hair : 1. Human factor, - the difference of skin complexion and skin types - the difference of structure and type of pigment melanin. 2. Environment factor, The using of cosmetic is differentiated based on the climate of the area : a). Cold climate / subtropics (Amerika dan Eropa), with seasons : summer, autumn, winter, spring. b). MODERN COSMETIC Classification of shampoo : a). Wet shampoo, is all kinds of shampoo which need water in using it. The form is cream, liquid, or powder Kinds of shampoo : 1). Lemon shampoo (shampo jeruk) - the basic engridience is nitric acid. - this can remove dirt which stick on the scalp or hair - this is used for normal or oily hair 2). Egg shampoo (shampo telur) - this is used for dry hair, thin, and porous - the main engridience is lanolin 3). Bear and champagne shampoo - characterized as rather acid - used for dry and smooth hair - the engridience in this shampoo will coat the hair stem so that it seems smooth and thick. 5). 6). Oil shampoo - the main engridience : cemara oil, olive oil, coconut oil. Body oil, and vegetable t, minyak badan, minyak tumbuh-tumbuhan - the purpose of cleaning dirt, fat, and leave thin coat oil afther shampoing. Seni Kerajinan dan Pariwisata

MODERN COSMETIC 7). Medicated shampoo - contains antiseptic to kill germs - functioned to prevent the occurrence of scalp and hair ailments 8). Treatment shampoo - contains disinfectant, selenium sulfida, zinc-pyrithione - cure scalp and hair ailments - avoid drops into eyes b). Dry Shampoo, using it without water. * Dry powder shampoo - sprinkle the shampoo thoroughly on the hair - cleaning this shampoo by brushing it. - used especially for sick person who must avoid contact with water. b). Hair tonic, cosmetic which is used to stimulate hair growth for normal or fall hair. Seni Kerajinan dan Pariwisata

2). Cosmetic for rinsing a). Vinegar Rinse - steps to make it : 4 tbs. vinegar add 1 liter of warm water, rinse until clean. - characterized as acid - helps to loosen tousled hair because of back combed. b). c). Citric acid Rinse - steps to make it : 1 tbs. of citric acid crystal put into 500 ml warm water, add more water until totally 1000 ml - used to neutralize the remaining alkolin, cover imbrications of hair, shining the hair d). Cream Rinse - in the form of cream and classified as acid - contain lanolin, colesterol, pelikan oil, preservative and aroma - used to smoothen hair, coat the hair so that become smoother e). 3). Conditioner cosmetic is cosmetic which is used to improve hair performance. Kinds of conditioner : a). Vinegar Rinse / acid rinselvinger rinse - for oily hair - neutralize foam - smoothen the remaining foam which is not dissolve b). Orange Rinse / lemon rinse - neutralize oily hair - fading hair color - tighten skin pores on the scalp so that reduce the oil product. c). f). Medicated rinse - with therapeutic to prevent dandruff g). Cream rinse - on the last rinse - smoothen and make easier in hair setting. h).
