2 Description One difficulty in translation stems from the fact that most words have multiple meanings. Because of this fact, a translation based on a one-to-one substitution of words is seldom acceptable. We have already seen this in the poster example and the telescope example. Whether a translation is done by a human or a computer, meaning cannot be ignored. I will give some more examples as evidence of the need to distinguish between possible meanings of a word when translating. Also we will give some examples about the wrong translation because sometimes we translate a word based on one-to-one subtitution of word

5 “Enviromental” Example
The current form of globalization has also been criticized for ignoring sustainable development and environmental concerns. For many years, critics, NGOs, activists and affected peoples have been accusing large corporations for being major sources of environmental problems.

6 Bentuk globalisasi saat ini juga telah dikritik untuk hal menghiraukan perhatian pada pengembangan dan perhatian terhadap lingkungan berkelanjutan. Beberapa tahun terakhir, kritik, LSM, aktivis dan orang yang berpengaruh terhadap itu semua telah menyebabkan perusahaan besar untuk menjadi sumber utama dari permasalahan lingkungan. Bentuk globalisasi saat ini juga telah dikritik karena mengabaikan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan masalah lingkungan. Selama bertahun- tahun, kritikus, LSM, aktivis dan masyarakat yang terkena dampak telah menuduh perusahaan-perusahaan besar untuk menjadi sumber utama masalah lingkungan.

A practitioner of hydrology is a hydrologist, working within the fields of earth or environmental science, physical geography, geology or civil and environmental engineering.

8 Hidrologi adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang pergerakan, distribusi dan kualitas air bumi dan planet lainnya, termasuk siklus hidrologi, sumber air dan keberlanjutan daerah aliran sungai. Seorang praktisi hidrologi disebut hidrologis, seorang hidrologis berkerja dalam lingkupan bumi atau sains lingkungan, geografi fisik, geologi atau sipil dan teknik lingkungan. Hidrologi adalah studi ilmiah dari gerakan, distribusi, dan kualitas air di Bumi dan planet-planet lainnya, termasuk siklus hidrologi, sumber daya air dan kelestarian DAS lingkungan. Seorang praktisi hidrologi adalah hidrologi, bekerja dalam bidang bumi atau ilmu lingkungan, geografi fisik, geologi atau teknik sipil dan lingkungan.

11 Conclusion The best way to translate from English to Bahasa Indonesia that we better translate it sentences by sentence, also don’t forget if a paragraph contains some idiom, we should know the goals of that idiom and don’t translate idiom one by one word because it can have the different meaning.
