2 Competence Standard: (Reading) Memahami makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk descriptive dan procedure yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan terdekat. (Writing) Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk descriptive dan procedure untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat. Basic Competence: Merespon makna yang terdapat dalam teks tulis fungsional pendek sangat sederhana secara akurat, lancar dan berterima yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan terdekat. Mengungkapkan makna dalam bentuk teks tulis fungsional pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat. Objectives: At the end of the session, students should be able to draw informtion based on a given memo and create a memo individually.

8 What is memo?? a short functional text which is left to communicate with others

9 When do we use it?  When we can’t use SMS or  When we communicate in local are, such as home, office, etc

10 How to make a memo? Ask your teacher!

11 Memo To: From: Date: Subject: First Sentence: Reason for the memo Second Sentence - Main Body: Any Instructions or information Closing Sentence What is required of the reader e.g. Confirmation, answers or feedback
