Gambaran Umum (ISTC) Konferensi pariwisata berkelanjutan merupakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata untuk ikut mengisi Sustainable Tourism Year 2017; Tema konferensi adalah “Managing Tourism as a Sustainable Business for Sustainable Future”; Kegiatan ini didukung oleh UNWTO dan Swisscontact, serta berkolaborasi dengan GSTC conference; Narasumber antara lain berasal dari UNWTO, GSTC, Green Destination, Swisscontact, ASEAN Japan Center, dan Universitas-Universitas dunia

Tujuan dan Output Day 1: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM EXPERIENCE AND PROJECTION Objectives: To highlight the understanding of the need for - and challenges to - implementation of 3 pillars of sustainable development, combine it into the tourism value chain, and encouraging the implementation of “sustainable tourism services” among stakeholders, to succeeding the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. To provide credible knowledge for stakeholders in taking role and embody the tourism ecosystem for sustainable tourism, To find key step to push and ensure the implementation of sustainable tourism practices To promote the benefit for all as the result of sustainable tourism development Expected Output: Recommendations for stakeholders collaboration and cooperation Further steps to maximize the triumph of sustainable development Stakeholder Commitmen Declaration for Sustainable Tourism Development

Tujuan dan Output Day 2: INITIATIVES, INOVATIONS, AND BEST PRACTICES Objectives: To explore initiatives that already exist among tourism pratices and key element that make the initiatives long last and minimize the risk. To elaborate the inovation in advocating, managing, and rejuvinating the tourism destination from policy and practical side To promote best practices of sustainable tourism practices and bring through the experience exchange amongst stakeholders Expected Output: Recommendation of strategic steps for mainstreaming the sustainable initiatives in tourism sectors Models in implement sustainable tourism in each part of tourism value chain
