Implementasi Basis Data Materi : Implementasi Basis Data Studi Kasus 1 : SISTEM PERBAIKAN MOBIL Bengkel Budi Luhur menyediakan jasa service/perbaikan kendaraan mobil. Pelanggan yang ingin memperbaiki mobilnya, datang ke bengkel dan menceritakan keluhan yang dirasakan kepada mekanik kemudian mekanik mencatatnya di Form Keluhan. Berdasarkan keluhan yang disampaikan pelanggan mobil diperiksa, dari hasil pemeriksaan pelanggan diberi informasi oleh mekanik bila terdapat spare part/suku cadang yang diganti atau tidak. Bila pelanggan setuju dengan sparepart yang ingin diganti, maka sukucadang akan diganti, jika tidak maka perbaikan batal dikerjakan. Setelah mobil selesai diperbaiki, mekanik menginformasikan kepada bagian Kasir tentang service yang dilakukan dan sparepart yang digunakan. Studi Kasus 2 : SISTEM PENYEWAAN KENDARAAN ”CIPAGANTI” adalah perusahaan penyewaan mobil. Pelanggan yang ingin menyewa akan mengisi Form Sewa Kendaraan (FSK) . Bila pelanggan membutuhkan supir, maka dapat menyewa dengan Perusahaan akan menyediakan supir bila diperlukan. Setiap jenis kendaraan memiliki harga sewa yang berbeda-beda. Harga sewa jasa sopir untuk daerah Jabodetabek dan diluar jabodetabek berbeda (lihat tabel harga sewa). Setelah mengisi FSK, pelanggan harus melunasi uang sewa dimuka dan mendapatkan Kwitansi sebagai tanda bukti pembayaran. Pada saat pengembalian kendaraan oleh pelanggan, petugas membawa Form Pengembalian Kendaraan (FPK) dan memeriksa kondisi body kendaraan apakah terdapat cacat/tidak. Bila terjadi cacat (misalnya spion pecah, body penyok), maka diperhitungkan penggantiannya dan dibebankan kepada pelanggan. Bila tidak cacat/terlambat maka tidak perlu mengisi FPK. Bila pelanggan terlambat dalam pengembalian, maka jumlah keterlambatan mobil dan sopir akan dibebankan kepada pelanggan. Setelah membayar kerusakan dan keterlambatan, maka dibuatkan kwitansi sebagai tanda bukti pembayaran. Teaching Tips It may be useful to walk through this diagram in class.
