Security Keamanan adalah kondisi dimana seseorang merasa aman dan nyaman baik dari ancaman fisik maupun psikis. Security ( keamanan ) merupakan hal yang paling penting yang harus diperhatikan dari pihak hotel, karena keamanan yang dimaksud bukan hanya terhadap tamu tetapi karyawan. Keamanan bukan hanya tanggung jawab pihak keamanan, tetapi juga menjadi tanggung jawab seluruh staff hotel. Bina Nusantara

GUEST Keamanan tamu sejak pertama kali menginjakkan kaki di hotel, tamu harus merasa seperti dirumah. Petugas keamanan berhak memeriksa tamu yang masuk tetapi dengan sopan dan tidak menyinggung perasaan tamu. Setiap tamu harus melalui metal detector atau pemeriksaan tanpa kecuali untuk menghindari hal – hal yang tidak diinginkan. Kerahasiaan tamu harus selalu dijaga, terkadang ada tamu yang tidak mau diketahui orang lain saat dia menginap di hotel. KARYAWAN Setiap karyawan memiliki loker untuk menyimpan barang – barang pribadinya sehingga saat bekerja karyawan tidak risau memikirkan barang – barangnya. Sebelum dan sesudah bekerja setiap karyawan akan diperiksa oleh petugas. Hal ini untuk menghindari hal – hal yang tidak diinginkan. Setiap karyawan dilarang menyimpan barang – barang tamu baik yang masih didalam kamar maupun tamu yang sudah check out. Karyawan juga tidak diperkenankan untuk membawa barang – barang hotel. Setiap karyawan diharuskan menjaga keamanan hotel namun bukan berarti menjadi “detektif” terhadap gerak gerik tamu.
