PERMING Definition : is an action to change straight hair into curly or wavy by attaching rotto and design technique. B. Aim : to develop the achievement of the desired design setting. Kinds of design pirming techniques : 1. Double perming 2. Mesh a-mesh perming 3. Vertical perming 4. Brick perming 5. Zig-zag perming 6. Stick perming 7. 4 DESIGN PIRMING TECHNIQUES
Double perming, The aim : a. To create waves and curls with the same size. b. done on the long hair Steps to form : Technique 1 : a. Part the hair into 9 sections b. Take 1 section, the end hair is covered with tonic paper. c. 2 rotto at the same size are rolled together until the edge hair. Technique 2 : b. ROLLING HAIR 2. Mesh a-mesh perming (Pengeritingan Selang-seling) Aim : - Produce pirming with big waves Steps to form : a. Apply rotto in big and medium waves alternately b. Part the hair into 9 sections c. The front hair is rolled with big rotto ± 5 pieces d. Continue with medium size rotto, the empty part is rolled with big size rotto, alternately big size and 2 medium. e. 3. Vertical Perming Aim : Produce pirming in big waves which hang down naturally (for long hair).. Steps to form : - Part the hair into 6 sections by parting into 2 left and right previously. - Rolling is done by applying rotto straight forward along horizontal line towards the dots on the head along the vertical line. 4. Brick perming Aim : Produce curls of hair which look naturally like the original without leaving the spot of vertical line. Steps to form : a. Rolling starts from the middle of forehead with big rotto, the temples (pelipis) with medium rotto. b. Rotto at the second line is the same, rolling is from the left ear to the right. c. Applying rotto is in alternate way like assembling brick. 5. Zig – zag perming Aim : to perm short hair. Steps to form : Part the hair into 9 sections. Sectioning and blocking in zig-zag with the help of tail comb. 6. Stick perming (pengeritingan batang ) Aim : form the volume of hair so that the hair blow around the design line. Steps to form : a. Part the hair into 5 sections, 2 at the right and left, 3 at the back in vertical parting and symmetric result of the parting. b. 7. Close fitting nape perming (Pengeritingan dekat tengkuk) : this is done for short hair near the nape. a. Parting and rolling hair is done like basic pirming b. 17 WORK PROCEDURE OF PIRMING
Brushing hair from bottom upward little by little so that the tousled of hair gradually loose out. Washing hair without conditioner Parting hair into 9,for technique : a. mesh a-mesh perming b. Double perming c. Zig-zag perming Or without parting hair 4. Rolling hair with rotto and applicator paper to suit the technique use. Consider : - the ends of hair must be covered with tonic paper. - make sure that no hair fold while curling. Cara Menggulung Rambut Sumber : S. . 5. Attach towel around the hair line 6. Apply pirming cosmetic. 7. Wait for process 8. Check the result of pirming once every 10 minutes a. hold the rolling b. release the rotto string, check whether the pirming result is good or not yet. c. if the result has become (S), return it to the previous rolling. d. rinse with warm water (rotto is still rolled) e. dry with towel by pressing it many times. 9. Apply neutralizer : - 10 minutes when still rolled - 5 minutes when the roll is open.
