2 Komite Pengarah SIM akan melaksanakan 3 fungsi utama: 1.Menetapkan Kebijakan  memastkan dukungan komputer  tujuan strategis perusahaan 2.Menjadi Pengendali Keuangan  otorisasi dana berkaitan dgn requirement komputer 3.Meyelesaikan pertentangan  prioritas penggunaan komputer PENGELOLAAN SIKLUS HIDUP Tanggung Jawab Eksekutif : Sistem memiliki nilai strategis  mengawasi proyek pengembangannya Komite Pengarah SIM : bertanggung jawab untuk mengawasi, memberikan petunjuk, pengarahan dan pengendalian yang berkesinambungan atas seluruh proyek sistem Menjalankan strategi yang ditetapkan oleh komite eksekutif dan rencana strategis sumber daya manusia 2 (dua) keuntungan yang diperoleh dgn memusatkan manajemen siklus hidup sistem dalam komite pengarah: 1. Komputer -  untuk mendukung pemakai di seluruh perusahaan  integrasi 2. Proyek – proyek sistem  memiliki perencanaan dan pengendalian yang baik
