Target UNS pada tahun 2017 adalah berada pada interval rangking 1000 - 500. Ini berarti pada tahun 2017 UNS mulai berada di rangking 1000 seperti UI. Jika dilihat dari parameter Visibility, maka UNS harus menyusun kegiatan-kegiatan untuk membawa Global Ranking website-nya (https://uns.ac.id) dari 100.000 menuju 40.000 di Engine Ahrefs sebagai Indeks Kinerja Kegiatan (IKK) seperti grafik di atas (website uns.ac.id versus ui.ac.id).
