UU No 20 Tahun 2003 Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangakan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yg diperlukan……

STANDARD OF ASSESSMENT Standard of assessment is mechanism, procedure and instrument of assessment in assessing the students’ result in learning. It involves: authentic assessment, peer assessment, portfolio, exam, daily exam, mid-term exam, final exam, competence level examination, national examination, school examination.

KINDS OF ASSESSMENT Authentic Assessment is an assessment which is conducted comprehensively in order to assess from the input, the process, and the output of learning. Self Assessment is an assessment which is done individually by students in reflective way to compare their relative position towards the criteria. Portfolio based Assessment is an assessment which is conducted to assess the whole learning process. It includes individual assignment and group assignment inside and / outside the class for attitude and skill assessment.

KINDS OF ASSESSMENT Examination (Ulangan) is a process which is done to measure achievement in competence continually in the process of learning. It can be used to observe progress and remidy of students’ result in learning. Ulangan Harian is an activity which is conducted periodically to measure students’ competence after finishing one Basic Competence (KD) or more. Mid-term examination is an activity which is done by teacher to measure students’ achievement in competence after finishing 8 – 9 weeks learning process. The coverage of the midterm test involves all indicators which represent the whole KD in those periods.

KINDS OF ASSESSMENT Ujian Akhir Semester is an activity which is done by teacher to measure students’ competence achievement at the end of the semester. The coverage of the midterm test involves all indicators which represent the whole KD in those periods. Ujian Tingkat Kompetensi (Competence Level Examination) is an assessment activity which is done by education institution to find out the level of competence achievement. The coverage of UMTK involves Basic Competences which represent Core Competences in the level of competence. Ujian Mutu Tingkat Kompetensi (Competence Level Quality Examination) is an assessment activity which is done by education institution to find out the level of competence achievement. The coverage of UMTK involves Basic Competences which represent Core Competences in the level of competence.

KINDS OF ASSESSMENT National Examination (Ujian Nasional) is an activity to measure certain competence which is achieved by students in order to achieve National Standard of Education, done nationally. Ujian Sekolah/Madrasah (School Examination) is an activity to measure students’ achievement for competences which are not assessed in National Examination, done by school institution.

Technique and Instrument in Assessing Attitude Observation is an assessment technique which is done continuously and using human’s sense directly or not directly by using observation guidance which contains the indicators about attitude observed. Self evaluation is an assessing technique by asking the students to evaluate themselves in context of competence achievement. The instrument used is in form of self evaluation sheet. Peer assignment is a assessing technique by asking students to assess each other in context of competence achievement. The instrument used is in form of peer assignment sheet. Journal is a teacher’s note inside and outside the class which contains the information about the result of the observation of students weaknesses which related to the attitude.

Technique and Instrument in Assessing Knowledge Written test instruments are in form of multiple choice, essay, short answer, true or false, matching. Oral Test instrument is in form of list of questions. Assignment instruments are in form homework or project which is done individually or in group sesuai dengan karakteristik tugas.

Technique and Instrument in Assessing Skills Practice test is a assessment which needs a response in form of the ability in doing certain activity which is suitable with the competence. Project is learning tasks which cover designing activity, implementation, and report in written form as well as oral form in certain time. Portfolio is a assessment which is done by scoring all student’s work in certain subject which is reflective-integrative in order to know students’ passion, development, achievement, and creativity during certain time. Those works could be in form of real action which represents students’ care about their environment.

Technique and Instrument in Assessing Skills Instrument of assessment must meet these requirements: The substance must represent competence which is going to be assessed. Construction must meet technical requirements which is suitable with the form of instrument used. Good usage of the language as well as communicative which is suitable with the development of the students.

Pengolahan Nilai Keterampilan Pengolahan nilai dapat menggunakan bobot yang sama atau berbeda untuk teknik penilaian Rumus pengolahan nilai a. Dengan pembobotan nilai yang sama Jumlah Rerata Skor yang Diperoleh dari: Nilai Akhir : Praktik, Projek, dan Portofolio terbaik 3 Nilai akhir: 3,1 + 2,9 + 3,5 = 3,17 (B)

Implemetation and teacher’s learning assessment report Teacher’s learning assessment which is conducted continuously has a purpose to observe the process of learning and learning development, and to enhance learning effectiveness. Teacher’s Learning Assessment should pay attention to these things. Assessment process begins with analyzing syllabus as reference in making plan and criteria of assessment in the beginning of semester. After setting criteria of assessment, teacher choose assessment technique which is suitable with the indicators and develop the instrument as well as scoring guide which is suitable with chosen instrument. The implementation of assessment in the learning process is started with investigation and ended by test or non test. Investigation is used by using questioning technique to explore learning experience which is suitable with the condition and ability of the students. c. Assessment in thematic-integrative learning is done by referring to indicators of Basic Competence of each subject associating with that theme.

D. Teacher’s assessment is further analyzed in order to know the learning development and the learning problem. Then it is returned to the students along with feedback which is in form of motivational comments. Teacher’s assessment report is in form of: 1) Score or description of competence, for knowledge and social assessment report belongs to thematic-integrative learning assessment report. 2) Description of attitude for spiritual and attitude assessment report.

F. Teacher’s assessment report is reported to headmaster and other stakeholders (i.e: class teacher, Guidance and Counseling Teacher, and parents) in the determined period. g. Spiritual and Social attitude assessment are done by all teachers during one semester, the result is accumulated and stated in form of description of competence by class teacher.
