Definition of Causal Conjunction Conjunction causal is a conjunction that functions to explain the reason and why. There are a lot of conjunctions that are incorporated in causal conjunctions. Which is included in causal conjunction is although, in case, as a result, in order, by, consequently, because, because, due to, despite, that reason, in this way, so, so as, otherwise, so that, since, so as to, yet, in this way, until, so, thank you, thus, to that end, unless and therefore.

Purpose of Causal Conjunction We use the following conjunctions to talk about purposes or goals. So and so that are more common than so as and in order that. So as is rather informal. In order that is more formal than the others. The following conjunctions are commonly used to connect causes/reasons and results. Because, as and since are very similar in meaning. In general, the 3rd conjunction for cause and effect above has the same meaning. Even so, in advanced grammar learning, there is little difference in usage. Because it is used because it refers to a very important reason and is not known by others As are used if the reasons presented are known Since it is used the same as the US but is more formal
