Hadits No 28

Suatu ketika, dalam perjalanan ke Madinah, Abu Hurairah tertinggal dari rombongan Rasulullah karena dia dalam keadaan junub. Abu Hurairah ra berkata, “Aku tertinggal darinya, lalu aku pergi dan mandi (besar), lalu aku datang. Beliau bertanya, ‘Dari mana saja kau, Abu Hurairah?’ Aku menjawab, ‘Aku dalam keadaan junub, dan aku tidak suka duduk bersamamu dalam keadaan tidak suci.’ Rasulullah bersabda, ‘Subhanallah. Sesungguhnya orang mu’min itu tidak kotor’.” Once upon a time, in a travel back to Madinah, Abu Hurairah was left by the Prophet’s entourage because of junub (being on major hadats). Abu Hurairah ra said, “I was left behind him, then I went and did a (major) shower, then I came to him. The Prophet asked, ‘Where were you, Abu Hurairah?’ I answered, ‘I am in junub, and I don’t like to gather with you while I am not clean.’ The Prophet said, ‘Subhanallah. Indeed, mu’min is not in dirtiness’.”
