PEMBENTUKAN MIGAS DISEBUT “ OIL & GAS KITCHEN” 1. Syarat Utama : harus ada tempat akumulasi bahan dasar untuk di masak jadi migas. 1. Sedimen harus relatif tebal dan kaya dengan akumulasi organik: binatang dan/atas tumbuh-tumbuhan. 2. Cukup Pressure, Temperatur, Time Syarat ini sangat terpenuhi, misalnya diketahui > 70 SB. baru 10 sedimeter basin (SB) yg di – explorasi w baru sedimeter bagi yang di – produksi 2. Suasana yang ‘aman’ dan ‘damai’ dan proses pemasakan migas, misalnya tidak terganggu oleh aktivitas gunung – api dan atau tektonik. 3.

MIGRASI Syarat Utama : Perlu media pengantar proses migrasi dan patuh atas kaidah – kaidah gravitasi. Model – Model migrasi Vertikal : Mencari tempat lebih tinggi dari posisi “dapur migas” Horisontal : Tempat tinggi tapi terpaksa berhenti karena media tidak bisa mengantar kelanjutan migrasi. Downward Migration : Mencari tempat yang lebih tinggi tapi terperangkap oleh lapisan batuan yang lebih “tua” dari batuan pembentuk migas. 4.

PERANGKAP Secara konvensional perangkap yg biasa di”huni” oleh migas adalah perangkap struktur yaitu model cawan terbalik yg di sebut “antiklin” belakangan ini diketemukan perangkap2 baru yaitu”reef list” , “coral”, “salt dome”, “pinched-out sandstone”, bahkan “tufa”. Bantuan reservoir yaitu”rumah” yg di “huni” migas biasanya batu pasir (sst), batu gamping (lst), tufa, dan pada kondisi tertentu “fractured rocks”. Perangkap inilah yg menjadi target utama Eksplorasi Migas. Cara Eksplorasi berdasarkan filosofi “cost effectivenes” yg tujuannya menekan “cost” untuk mencapai “success ratio” yg tinggi dalam menemukan “rumah-rumah migas”. 5

8 PARADIGM HAS CHANGED “If cheap is possible, why expensive“
When oil price was US$18/ barrel, small oilfields became economically unfeasible and were unable to cover the investment cost. At US$100/ barrel and with smaller new technologies, the situation changed. The old paradigm of big foreign oil companies controlling the industry no longer applies, providing opportunities for smaller private companies. The break apart of The Soviet Union into Russian federations lead the way to indepent oil producing states developing smaller efficient technologies. Georgia developed portable refineries with capacity of less than 5400 bopd with advance computer monitoring.
